Our Services
Liberty Oaks Homes helps connect veterans, case managers and property owners to help create supportive communities for our heroes. The homes we work with are clean, well furnished and designed to provide a higher quality of life for our residents, all while being very affordable, even on a fixed income.
For Veterans
Life should not be a compromise between quality of life and affordability. Our shared housing model is the best way to ensure that you get both without losing your independence or control over your income. You should never have to feel alone, isolated or confided by your situation. Come home!
For Case Workers
We find the homes and get them set up for your residents. We know the needs of the veteran community are already bad and only getting worse. And we know how hard it is to find quality housing. Let us find the homes for your next veteran and you will be a Liberty Oaks Homes believer too.
For Landlords
Liberty Oaks typically leases properties for 5-10% above market standard rental rates and we prefer 24 or 36 month leases. We also provide normal maintenance services and keep the properties clean over the course of the lease. You get to be a completely passive investor again while also helping people in need find quality homes at an affordable price. It's a win-win-win scenario!
Independent Shared Living Advantages
Moving into an independent shared home can be a desirable choice for a variety of reasons. Here are some of the common motivations for individuals seeking this type of living situation:
Living with others provides opportunities for companionship, social interaction, and the chance to build meaningful relationships. This can be particularly important for individuals who would otherwise feel lonely or isolated.
For retirees and those on fixed incomes, shared homes can help to minimize housing costs, freeing up more financial resources for other needs.
Shared living arrangements can offer a built-in support system. Housemates can help one another with daily tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, or even providing emotional support during challenging times.
Living with others can enhance personal safety and security. Having housemates can deter potential intruders and provide a sense of reassurance, especially for those who may have safety concerns.
Many organizations provide group rates for in-home services based on the number of residents receiving those services.
Some shared living arrangements include access to amenities that an individual might not be able to afford on their own, such as a larger living space or a well-equipped kitchen.
Shared homes can be particularly beneficial for those seeking flexible living situations, such as individuals transitioning to a fixed retirement income.
Independent Shared Living is for those members of the community who are generally able to manage and maintain their own lives.
Can you prepare and eat food on your own?
Can you get in and out of bed and move around freely on your own?
Can you secure and manage your own healthcare?
Can you maintain your own personal hygiene?
Can you do your own laundry?
Can you arrange for your own transportation?
Can you do your own shopping?
Can you manage your own finances?
Can you use a telephone and do you have a personal cell phone?
If the answer to all of these questions is "yes" then you should not be forced to live in a "permanent care facility", a "retirement home", or a "licensed group home". And you should not be required to pay the high fees to live in a facility that provides expensive services that you do not need and probably wont use.
